Active Call For Papers - Volume 24 - Publication Year End 2025

The Journal of Legal Studies in Business (JLSB) is the official publication of the Southeastern Academy of Legal Studies in Business (SEALSB) as a regional section of the affiliated international Academy of Legal Studies in Business (ALSB). See LINK.

As of Spring 2025, JLSB is now actively accepting papers to be considered for inclusion in its upcoming volume 25, slated to be published at Year End 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTE: JLSB IS UNABLE TO ACCEPT ANY REQUESTS TO EXPEDITE REVIEWS. IF YOU SUBMIT A MANUSCRIPT FOR EXPEDITED REVIEW, WE WILL BE UNABLE TO REVIEW IT AT ALL, AS OUR EDITORIAL STAFF IS SMALL AND WE HAVE A STANDARD SCHEDULE AND PROCESS FOR ALL REVIEWS. We will not commence review of any article submited on an expedited basis, as we will assume the authors already intend to publish elsewhere absent the expedited process.

Since 1992, the JLSB has published high quality, double-blind/peer reviewed legal research on a wide range of law and ethics related topics with an intersection to business. The journal is indexed in Cabell’s Directory of Publishing Opportunities in Management and Marketing, and The Index to Legal Periodicals and Books, as well as being listed in the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) List of high quality publications. The journal has over 700 institutional and individual subscribers, and is in the process of being added to the Digital Commons platform in order to showcase author’s work, and to help maximize citation impact through full-text indexing in Google Scholar and other databases.
